The more you donate, the more people we can help.

City Incite is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.

Here at City Incite, we offer 3 services for employers to help improve their workplace. Two of the services are also available to schools.

Construction Training

You can hire City Incite to train people in your organization or school in construction.

  • City Incite can come to your workplace or school and train people, so they qualify for OSHA or NCCER certificates.*
  • We’re also available to do more comprehensive training programs that may include construction certificates.

These training programs are for school districts or organizations that want construction training for their people. In these cases, the participants are those who don’t qualify for B.U.I.L.D or YouthBuild (which have strict requirements such as being in poverty or left high school early without graduating), but are still a disadvantaged group such as women, minorities or refugees.

Insightful Circle

The Generation Y and Z youth who participate in our programs come from challenging circumstances, making it more difficult for them to thrive in a traditional workplace.

City Incite recently launched a program called Insightful Circle to help Gen Y and Z flourish at work. The program helps them become better adjusted to the workplace and be more productive. Insightful Circle helps employers structure their workplace to help develop better employees. The program equips employers to work in a better way with our participants and with Gen Y and Gen Z employees in general. Our program will help you retain and recruit talent and create a happier and more mutually beneficial work environment.

Insightful Circle focuses on employee wellness programs that are specifically targeted to Gen Y and Z. Employee wellness programs have a proven track record of “ROI” (return on investment) meaning employers who have these programs get back more in employee productivity than they spend on the program. However, many of these programs don’t support Gen Y and Z in the most effective ways. Insightful Circle shows you a more holistic approach that works for Gen Y and Z and for our participants. Our program helps you create a culture of care in the workplace. It focuses on preventing problems from occurring in the first place. These are key to improving the overall health of your organization and to ultimately saving money.

Violence Prevention Program

Surprisingly to some, millions of workers face violence in the workplace every year. In fact, it’s the second leading cause of occupational injury.

The Occupational Safety and Health Act’s (OSH Act) General Duty Clause requires employers to provide a safe and healthful workplace for all workers covered by the OSH Act.

City Incite can help you make sure you’re in compliance and that your employees or students are safe and comfortable in their environment.

Some of the topics we cover are: Conflict Resolution, Anger Management, and Communication Techniques.

Our Methods

Meeting you where you are: We achieve our transformation workshops and retreats through methods of quantitative and qualitative client engagement. By doing so we can tailor our curriculum to fit the needs of your organization exactly.

Qualitative Methods:

  • Focus groups: We conduct focus groups with organizational leadership, students and/or employees, and a mix of both together. In this format we ask questions and give group interviews to assess company needs and group workflow. We also ask groups to perform tasks to assess how people work together and gauge areas of improvement.
  • One-on-one interviews: Similar to focus groups, but these interviews are done on a one-on-one basis with leadership in order to plan your company’s transformative experience. We use this method throughout the experience to gauge customer’s satisfaction and see if any changes need to be made.
  • Making use of pictures, music, and other media: We ask that you bring in photos, music, and other media that represents your organization and the goals you hope to achieve. By talking through these things we can further tailor your experience.

Quantitative Methods:

  • Surveys and analysis:
    • Pre-Survey: we give an intake survey to leadership that covers problem areas and desired outcomes from completing one of our programs. This also covers the amount of time, number of participants, and budget concerns. A similar survey is given to the employees/students so we can analyze for trends and put together a program that addresses the concerns of both sides.
    • Evaluation surveys: These occur both during and after the program. We analyze data collected during the program to see how we are doing and if anything can be done to better meet the needs of your organization. At the end, we analyze to see how leadership and customers feel everything went and how our program has helped the organization on their transformation journey.
