B.U.I.L.D.

B.U.I.L.D. stands for Building Up Important Lives and Dreams.

B.U.I.L.D. is a 9-month, career-training program that helps prepare young people for careers. You must be 16-24 to participate. If you haven’t finished high school or aren’t sure what job you want, this could be for you.

If you participate in B.U.I.L.D.:

  • You’ll receive hands-on experience in construction, hospitality, transportation or business.
  • You’ll also learn professional and personal development skills needed to succeed such as handling finances and community responsibility.
  • You’ll hear inspiring stories from others like you who have become successful in their careers despite the obstacles they faced.
  • You’ll receive nationally-recognized, industry certification credentials.

At the end of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to get a job or paid apprenticeship. You can immediately start making livable wages. You may also be able to afford college while working.

There are 3 B.U.I.L.D. programs plus “B.U.I.L.D. Days.”

The rest of this page is about our B.U.I.L.D. Construction program.
